Greetings and Thank you for the privilege of allowing me to partner with you on your new life journey to self actualization. Together, I believe that we can change any pattern and quickly move toward success by simply believing it can be done, creating a reasonable and attainable vision plan, utilizing the proper skills and techniques and most importantly- tapping into your personal strengths and drive; which will provide you with resolve to follow through and accomplish your personal life goals. I have been active in the field of human services for approximately 10 years; Working and volunteering for elementary and secondary schools, colleges, a government agency, multiple non-profit organizations and churches as well as private practice. I provide Christian and Secular counseling as well as Life Coaching Services. My personal areas of strength include working with challenging children, teens and their families; trauma/grief and loss; divorce; self-esteem, depression, anxiety, financial counseling, anger, trauma, guilt and unforgiveness. I utilize a combination of well researched approaches to empower and heal such as: Reality Theory, The Nurtured Heart Approach, Peaceful Parenting, Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Theory, Adlerian Psychology and Virginia Satir. I firmly take the position that medications for mental health issues should be avoided if at all possible. I base this value judgement on the work of Dr. Peter Breggin and Robert Whitaker. In summary, my counseling and coaching approaches will always be based on Biblical principles and well researched and proven methods that capitalize on your personal strengths and skills in a short period of time.
