Your decision to seek a professional counselor is a decision to invite another human being to walk alongside you through life. I do not view myself as an expert, nor do I believe most people need an expert. But I love the therapeutic relationship.
In a fast-paced world where anxiety and loneliness are part of life, it is good to have someone to talk to. I divide my time between couples counseling (pre-marital and marital) and individual counseling. I also do spiritual direction one-to-one, along with guiding spiritual retreats that provide men and women with the opportunity for silence, listening to God, playing, and rest.
