I have over 15 years of experience working with children, adolescents and families. I have served as a Social Worker for Child Protective Services, a Group Facilitator working with sexual abuse survivors through Parents United International, a Mental Health Clinician providing outpatient counseling for at-risk youth, and as a private practice therapist. I am currently the Director of Member Care and Professional Development at the American Association of Christian Counselors and a Board Certified Professional Christian Counselor through the International Board of Christian Counselors and I am currently in training to become a Certified Crisis Responder and Trainer through the ICISF and the AACC Crisis Response Certification Program.
