Welcome to Ecumenical Health Ctr! Our goal is to make available the healing and resolution of stress, pain and emotional upset due to life’s many difficulties. We call upon the Holy Spirit to guide us and the great resources of counsel, family systems and biofeedback/relaxation training to target anxiety, depression, anger, hurt and grieving. The course of treatment is typically brief, running from 3 to 5 sessions on average, with planned follow-ups. Biofeedback training and therapy can last longer, but may be spread out to help the client practice at home and consolidate their gains. Marital sessions may only require 1 or more hourly visits but family work can require 90 minutes to address broader issues. We attempt to change generational patterns of abuse and dysfunction by substituting new and healthy patterns of behavior. We specialize in stress and anger management with biofeedback, and often conclude with other pain or emotional syndromes as these are uncovered by preliminary work. Spritual and personal growth may be a longer process which could be negotiated at a lower hourly rate in return for consistent attendance. Most insurance and managed health care plans are billable by our office staff. All denominations and belief systems are welcomed.
