I provide counseling and therapy from a distinctively Christian perspective for anyone seeking help and hope for the problems encountered in everyday life. I provide assistance for people confronting needs in such areas as depression; anxiety; marriage and family difficulties; substance abuse; codependency; grief; sexual, physical, and emotional abuse; and pre-marital counseling. It is my purpose and goal to provide quality, helpful, professional counseling therapy not limited to those approaches used by the secular counseling community. Using the Word of God as my primary guide, I seek to extend to those in need a “safe place for new beginnings”
I graduated from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1984 with a Master of Arts in Religious Education with a major in Counseling. In addition to my private counseling practice, I also serve as the family therapist at a prominant state addictions treatment center in central Louisiana.
